Corporate Christmas Cards

Family Beach Portrait Trifold Christmas Card

I love photographing this family for the holidays.  Their Christmas Card selections are always fun.  This card features a 5x5 Trifold format and I am recommending a light craft envelope to accompany it.  Love that they include Kona in their family portrait each year.

Beach Portrait Block

This adorable little beach lover had lots of fun digging in the sand.  Mom chose this sweet image for a block. This is the full from and more of the image wraps around the sides on a 1 inch wooden block.  It's perfect for a wall collage, an art cluster or an easel.

Legacy Portraits make great Christmas Cards

This was such a fun family to photograph and three beautiful grandchildren certainly helped make it such a pleasure.  This card is designed as a 5x7 foldover card with a complementary white or craft envelope.

Fun Photo Christmas Cards

I love personality in Christmas Cards and this is a really fun images that communicates a lot about this sweet family.  Don't we all want joy in our relationships?  Partners and children who enjoy being together and know how to have fun even in the simplest settings.  Love this fun postcard.

Foil Overlay Christmas Cards

Now through Thanksgiving, there is no additional charge for foil overlays on your Christmas Card.  Our professional lab offers 8-10 holiday messages for 5x5 and 5x7 cards some in vertical and some horizontal.  Gold, Red and Silver foil.

Merry Christmas 2015

This is a fun wide format Christmas Card.  It opens like a book making it a fun twist on the traditional 5x7 size card. This little guy is so much fun it is almost impossible to decide on a single image for a Christmas Card.  I love custom cards because you can practically send a little mini photo album to friends and loved ones once a year.  Love this jolly red color.

Brooke & Grayson Engagement

Engagement sessions are so much fun and what a great way for us to get to know a couple.  I love the chemistry between Brooke & Grayson.  They are so natural and fun together.
I love all the personal touches and spontaneity this couple brings to a session.

The perfect grandparent Christmas card

How fun it is for grandparents to update friends and family with new photos of their children and grandchildren.  Kids far and near came together for multi-session beach portraits.

Beach Postcards are perfect as Christmas Cards

I love this fun black and white Christmas Card.  This is on of my favorite beach sessions each year.  Kim is so friendly and warm and her session is so fun.  I know her family and friends look forward to her cards each year and we are so happy to be a part of her holiday tradition.

Wall Clusters - How do I decide on sizes for the wall and for gifts?

Wondering how to decide what size to order for a wall portrait or gift prints?  The most important consideration is which print(s) and the approximate size or scale for the space where you will display the print.   We offer a wall grouping service that allows you to send us a photo of a wall in your home with a few key dimensions and we can scale images to give you an idea of how the wall will look with a cluster of family images.  It is genius!

If however you would like to experiment at home with butcher paper taped to the wall that works as well.  For those of us who are really visual sometimes it's a must.

Here are 4 examples of  the same image in different sizes.  The ratios remain the same the size scrolls larger or smaller.  For example a 2:3 ratio can be a 40 x 60 in wall canvas or a tiny 4x6 gift print for a frame (by the way with 5 people a 4x6 is TOO small.)

 A
This 1:2 ratio is a custom size - it's twice as wide as it is tall.  It's really cool on a desk because it's not too big but it is an unusual size.  Of course that means you'll need to get a 5x10 frame from us here at the studio because we have them custom made in quantities.  Yes they are that popular especially for large family groups where the number of people is much wider than the desired height of the group.

B
Below - A 2:3 ratio is the familiar, standard 4x6 shape, but can be scaled larger to retain the composition but fill a larger space on the wall or as a print block on an easel.  This is the size that comes directly out of the camera - the only size ratio where no cropping is required.  We offer 8x12, 12x18, 20x30 a very popular size, 24x36 and 40x60.  We actually have 3 of these on display in our studio.

C
A 5x7 is the perfect table top gift print size.  It can also be scaled larger  to a variety of custom sizes like 10x14, 15x21, 20x28 or 30x35

D
A 4:5 ratio is also a very familiar shape - 8x10 is a readily available frame size for gift prints.  Enlargements range from 12x15, 16x20, 24x30.  This ratio is just slightly off square - another of my favorite shapes.
